Noble it is with Great Zeal and Humility that I stand before you to serve this Prestigious Temple. I think God for giving me the fortitude and knowledge to lead such and outstanding group of Men among Men. I thank you for electing me as your ILL. Potentate to lead you into the in summing year of 2025. I will make you pound and continue to bring our Temple to the forefront of all the Temples in the Desert and the Domain. My Vision is a simple one. Let's stop telling our community who we and Let's start showing our community who we. What I mean Nobles let's put the Fezzes back on the street. As I sit and ponder it is evident that our community needs us more than ever. There are so many issues that need our attention. Nobles I realized that we can't solve all our communities problem. But I am a strong avocate of attacking the issues one at a time. If we can reachout change the life of one human being then we have done a lot. Because that one human being my then reachout and change the life of another human being and before you know it we have started a domino effect. So Nobles let us began to set the first domino. A BIGGER, BETTER, PLATTA Charity - The gift of giving your time is valuable. I am proposing that we start a partnership with the Covenant House. The Covenant House has done so much for this community in helping out our children stay off the streets. The facility use simple principles for young people that come for help. 1.Every young person who comes is met with unconditional love and respect 2.All youth is welcome without judgement 3.All you is welcome with sanctuary 4.Relationship are built with the youth through caring conversation, trust and respect 5.Structure is providing with stability and consistency for all youth 6.Turn no Youth away furnishing a room for the resident for $1000.00 So, Nobles let's dig and set domino effect. I want us to get involved, get other involved and stay a part of the involvement. Let's be stewards for the children of the city we call home. Veterans - The VA has given so much to our Veterans that have given their lives for us to have a safe country and give us the peace to carry our daily endeavors. Nobles let start reaching out to our Veterans at least quarterly. I want to start putting together gift bags filled with needed items for our Veterans. Nobles let show them we care and we're here. Desert Conference - Nobles as i journeyed to the sit of ILL. Potentate I can see that some Nobles will not travel. And that is ok because some are not able to travel for their on reasons. But I can tell you this. You learn a lot about a Noble when you travel with him. With that being said I am proposing that we travel by bus to Desert conference this year. Let's do it Nobles. Show the desert that we are BIGGER, we are BETTER, we are PLATTA. RelationShips round the Domain. Nobles we have yet made a visit to another Temple in the Domain. Let's change that concept starting this year. The relationships you make doing your life is what makes life worth living. Platta Temple needs to open it's doors and travle around the Domain. Therefore let's take a Platta meeting on the road. I am proposing that we leave on a Thursday and have our meeting on the road. And build relationship with another Temple. I know we can do it Noble. Let's build a BIGGER, BETTER, PLATTA PLATTA CRAWDAD-Que Fest- Nobles as I look at other organization such as ZULA that throw these big Balls and events every year. I see no reason we can be just as big and have a blow out event every year. An event for everyone to enjoy. With that being said I am proposing the we kickoff the Platta CrawDAD-QUE Fest. The festival will feature live entertainment. Also feature a Crawfish and Bar-B-Q cook. We will solicit others to be part of the competition and award the winner $500.00. We will charge anywhere between $25 and $30 dollars a person. This will be our biggest fund raiser annually. With your support Nobles I know we can be successful in bringing this event to the forefront. Let's build a BIGGER, BETTER, PLATTA. Committees and Reports - Nobles I know it's been said many times. We are as strong as our weakest link. Our weakest link right now are our Committes and Reports. Although we have standing Committes their haven't been a lot of work done on any of them. The reports are not getting done at all. Nobles if you want to be on any of the committees please let me know. I want you understand what your Potentate expects of you. Our committees need to work and the work needs to be documented. Reports need to be submitted in a timely manner. I know we can do it Nobles it just takes dedication. Let's build a BIGGER, BETTER, PLATTA. Dues, Nobles our dues have to be paid. I know we pay our dues annually. However if want to fill like you pay your dues monthly. You should put aside $16 dollars per month in a place in your home and at the end of year use the money you set aside to pay your dues. We are behind every year in getting our reports done and it is a big burden on our recorder. Therefore, I am having the books automatically closed at December’s meeting. All funds will be accepted at the beginning of meeting and books closed an hour after meeting starts. No funds for dues will be accepted after books close in December. If you have not paid your dues by then. You will be suspended and names with be turned into the Imperial Council. You will need be reinstated if this occurs. Nobles as I began to close I hope you can see the vision. The vision that catapults Platta to no limits. A vision we all be pound of and support. My vision puts the fezzez's back in the community and on the street spreading brotherly love and affection. I know the sands are hot but God has given us the knowledge to concor the desert.
